Quantum Computers
All computers will work with 0 and 1. The 1 consists of the bit (which is the electricity pass), the 0 is when this electricity does not pass, to achieve larger bits they managed to decide to make a group of 8 which are called bytes.
What we still do not understand in a totality are qubits, and what is a qubit? It's a 0 up, a 1 down, and a sphere that intersects the radius on the opposite side of the bits.
In quantum physics there are no absolute numbers (1,0), they are only probabilities. The ibm Q was the first and what they want to achieve is 20 qubits available. It takes surprising cold for these qubits to work well and well.
Worldwide, there are few companies that have created quantum computers in a public way, since this is a revolutionary technology and governments do not want to make it public at all, despite the fact that this type of progress is very difficult to hide.
Processors are a series of transistors, these are what make the energy pass or not pass, that is; 0 or 1. These over time get updated too much, which over the years get smaller to make them faster. But the problem comes when, thanks to this, they get hotter and use more electricity, which also when they want it to be fast they get closer to the processor's volume. That is why companies like Intel have no longer made more progress since they can only make mistakes.
According to what I understood from the video, you put a simple sus on a regular machine or system and it throws you the result, such as: 2 + 2 = 4. But quantum is generated by qubits and probabilities, as I said in the beginning, so if you put 2 + 2 it won't tell you four if it doesn't go to the simulators and measure potential percentages of assertiveness in each choice, you determine when to stop it. Since you determine whether to continue simulating or stop by giving you 90 percent of the possible answer. The temperatures are low for these purposes, as these machines have to be held in 0 or empty space, so that none of the qubits disturb the atoms.
For things like everyday, Quantum computers are not useful, since you can not create stuff like Excel, Phrase, Paint or so in them. But if you want to get the answer to the factor in micro seconds. Stuff that you could check on a standard machine, but in seconds, based on probabilities, it doesn't give you a concrete response.
here down is a link for an interesting article about quantum computing :)
